Hyencos Hotel Callyon

Ho prenotato a Giugno in questa struttura per un soggiorno dal 28/08 al 4/09, in un secondo momento guardando le recensioni fatte qualche settimana prima, avevo paura che questa vacanza diventasse un flop! Mi sono piacevolmente ricreduta! Abbiamo pernottato nella struttura separata a pochi metri dall'hotel principale, camere un pò datate ma molto confortevoli e con un'ottima pulizia. Tranne la prima cena (disastro totale) per i restanti giorni é stata eccezionale come anche la colazione, molto varia! Non offrono il servizio pranzo, ma se chiedete vi verranno preparati dei panini con frutta e acqua al posto della cena (se volete una serata per provare i locali del posto), spiaggia raggiungibile a piedi o con il pulmino. Personale super disponibile, dai camerieri alla reception, dove ci hanno spiegato gentilmente le tratte dei bus per raggiungere le altre città e ci hanno proposto un'alternativa ad un problema che abbiamo avuto con la navetta per il ritorno in areoporto. Uniche note dolenti sono state la spiaggia per quanto riguarda il personale (tranne il bagnino, simpatico e disponibile), e le 4 stelle dell'Hotel, secondo me più da classificare come un tre stelle se non vengono apportati miglioramenti. Molto soddisfatta del pernottamento, della posizione strategica della hotel (in pieno centro paese e vicino alla fermata del Bus) e del mare stupendo!

Stayed July 2022 for 15 days. Room not great, food and staff excellent. Great location. On the beach, the 1st row was reserved for those who paid a supplement or for tourists. Enchanting sea. The unpleasant note was at the time of payment where they added the single supplement for a room that could only be used for one person and these were not the agreements. If there hadn't been this mix-up I would have returned again this year.

I would not return and do not recommend it. When booking the holiday in this facility, we opted for the "half board" solution including breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately the quality of the food turned out to be really poor and after the first two attempts to have dinner and breakfast at the hotel we had to abandon this hypothesis and try elsewhere. As for the beach, we already knew that we would have to face the inconvenience of the distance of 600 meters from the hotel and we accepted the sacrifice, the things that we didn't like at all were the distance between one umbrella and another which was too close. and above all the criterion for assigning umbrellas, given that those in the front row were permanently closed, but despite this the hotel guests were systematically positioned in the back rows. The room is basic in presentation, not very large and maintenance is lacking. The positive notes of the holiday were: the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the secure and shaded parking, the silent fridge in the room, the air conditioning.
