Hôtel Astra Opéra Astotel

Nice hotel in great location. No stairs at front door, don’t need to worry about lifting heavy luggage. Love it! Concierge was helpful and friendly when checking in and out. Stayed five nights, shower was good in terms of pressure and temperature, easy to use when switching to different shower heads. Room has enough space, quiet at night. Love the snacks provided. Will stay here next time for sure!

This hotel (and chain) deserves the good ratings. It is in a good location in the Opera area, with several hotels on the same street, and there is underground parking nearby (although it is expensive ~45 euros per night). The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, explained in great detail how to access parking, all the amenities of the hotel, and stored bags happily. The room was a bit snug but not too small, with a fun movie star design, and a very comfortable large bed. It is lovely to have free soft drinks in the minibar, and free snacks downstairs at the lobby. Price was a bit on the expensive side, but worth it in the end.

We had a wonderful 10 days in Paris, staying at the Astra Opera Hotel. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were wonderfully helpful and attentive. Our rooms were lovely, we had a family suite and another room right next door. The rooms were very well appointed, spacious and fun. We appreciated their efforts in helping to reduce the environmental impact of the laundry services etc. And the showers were amazing! The location of the hotel was amazing. There were at least three metro stations within a short walking distance, also very close to many big tourist destinations (5-20 min walk). As a group of three women travelers with two minors, we never felt uncomfortable in the surrounding areas at night. The proximity to restaurants and shopping was amazing too! The staff were wonderful and welcoming, and when my daughter lost a treasured souvenir between room cleans, the hotel staff tried their best to track it down and when that didn't work, they did everything they could to make it better. We would definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully be back again. Thanks for helping to make our stay in Paris so memorable.
