My stay at the Majestic Hotel in Cannes was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The beach club is simply amazing—stylish, relaxing, and the perfect place to soak up the Riviera sun. And the breakfast buffet? Without a doubt, the best in Cannes. The variety, quality, and attention to detail were unmatched. As a pet owner, I was so impressed by how pet-friendly the hotel is—my furry companion was welcomed with open arms and felt just as pampered as I did. A special mention to the front desk team, who were consistently warm, helpful, and professional. Lorenzo, in particular, went above and beyond—truly the best front desk agent I’ve encountered. His kindness and efficiency made all the difference. And the concierge team was equally outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.
What a fantastic hotel on the Cote D’Azur. Loved my experience here, as my first time in the South of France and wanting to experience true luxury, Le Barriere stands as the most luxurious experience with incredible caviar and rooms to watch the sunrise. It is a dream come true! Highly recommend. 10/10
Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Hype This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had, especially for the price. At €1,300 per night, the room was shockingly small—literally the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. There was no space to even open a suitcase on the floor; I had to place it on the bed just to access my things. We stayed for two nights between visiting Nice and St. Tropez, and even that short stay felt unbearable. The hotel may be rated five stars, but the experience didn’t reflect that in any way. The location is at the end of the beach and the beginning of the bay, but the beach water was in such poor condition I couldn’t even put my feet in. The hotel lobby is nicely designed, but it was always overcrowded with people sitting and eating there for hours—it felt more like a busy café than a luxury hotel lounge. Overall, the only reason this hotel seems to be popular is its proximity to the Cannes Film Festival, which makes it a convenient option for celebrities. Otherwise, I’d much prefer the location and atmosphere around the Carlton Hotel.
