Hôtel Barrière L'Hôtel du Golf Deauville

Peaceful location. We arrived right after they opened the outdoor swimming pool for the season. It was still a winter weather but the pool was opened, it was much appreciated to swim and hop into the sauna. Beds were supper comfortable and the room itself was spacious with a view on the ocean. Great soundproofing. Amenities were great with a nexpresso machine and Palais des Thé tea. Breakfast was super delicious even if they didn’t refill the smoked salmon 15 minutes before the end of the breakfast. The 24 hours in room dining menu has a very limited choice with only three plates, the quality was not good, overpriced for what you get. Even the bed and butter was better than the main plate! For that kind of hotel I expected to have a better in room dining service. Overall I recommend the hotel.

Excellent resort hotel but not near enough to the downtown area (shops and restaurants and waterfront) where the real action is. However, if your goal is golfing, or you have private transportation, you won't be disappointed.

Located in a beautiful area but way overpriced for a deluxe room with sea view. 700€+/night and you get a very cheap room with no AC (you have to upgrade to a suite for double the price to get it :) The swimming pool is very small and too cold (despite visiting in August) Breakfast, Hammam, Gym and staff (from kids club, parking and breakfast) were very nice.
