This hotel was wonderful. It managed to deliver the old world elements of the Oriental golden age in a way that was both stylish and romantic. The level of service was outstanding, from the costumes worn by the staff to the personalized connections and attentiveness, we felt part of the family for the entire stay. The breakfast was perhaps the best I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. The team of chefs managed to present exquisite local delicacies in a way that was respectful, approachable, and above all delicious. Even my young children who are used to standard Western fare, indulged and managed to experience the new flavours and textures. The staff went above and beyond to create a personal connection with us and were very accommodating of our children. The design of the hotel was wonderful, large picture, book windows, looking out to the city and very comfortable beds with quality linen helped us to sleep very well. The collection of antiques in the lobby, the beautiful floral carpets, the stylish artworks, and the attention to detail on every level made this hotel stand out from any normal five star hotel experience. I would not hesitate in recommending any friends or colleagues to stay at the hotel, desserts, and speaking for myself and my family, we would be very excited to return again someday.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The design is beautiful and tasteful, the location is excellent, and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Special thanks to assistant manager Tan and front desk staff Linh for their outstanding service. When we changed rooms, everything had already been thoughtfully arranged in the new room based on our previous preferences — without us needing to say a word. Their attention to detail and care made the whole experience smooth and effortless. We truly felt well looked after. Highly recommended!
Our stay at Hotel des Arts Saigon began on a positive note, with a smooth and welcoming check-in experience at the executive lounge on the 22nd floor. We had booked two executive rooms for our family, but unfortunately, the room size was extremely disappointing. The biggest drawback for me was the bathroom layout — it isn’t a separate room but merely divided by a curtain. Had this been made clear on the website, I would not have chosen this hotel. The only meal we experienced at the hotel was breakfast. While the selection was good, the service left much to be desired. Staff seemed rushed, and when my son requested pancakes just a few minutes after breakfast closed, the answer was a firm “no.” This felt unnecessarily rigid, especially after experiencing truly exceptional hospitality at other properties during our two-week trip through Vietnam. On the positive side, the hotel is well-located. However, be aware that the rooftop bar generates significant noise. Although letters in the room state that music stops at 10:45 p.m., it actually continues until at least midnight. Since all executive rooms are located on the higher floors, our room on the 21st floor felt as if the DJ was playing directly above us. Overall, while the hotel has potential, the small rooms, poor bathroom design, and underwhelming service — combined with the late-night noise — make it difficult for me to recommend for those seeking a relaxing and comfortable stay
