The staff at Hotel des Horloger is so very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and exploring the valley. Nature abounds and the decor pulls from many of the local features. We visited the Grottoes of Vallorbe and then understood some of the art in the hallways.
A Hidden Gem for Watch Lovers, Design Enthusiasts & Nature Seekers! It was a lovely stay — calm, stylish, and full of thoughtful touches. I’d recommend it to anyone with a passion for horology, an eye for beautiful design & architecture, or a heart that beats a little faster in nature. Can't wait to come back!
An excellent hotel in all facets. Super friendly and well trained staff. Excellent facilities. Room are top class. It is wonderfully situated and extremely quiet. The only reason for a 4 star and not 5 star is that when we stayed, there was a company event for a product release, that took over the hotel for the 4 days we stayed. It meant that most nights we had almost no access to the hotel bar and reserving the restaurant was problematic and car parking was extremely difficult. For paying guests (paying a lot) this was annoying as it made what should be a seamless stay, somewhat more challenging. However, the staff and management went out of their way to solve any issues in a forthright and understanding manner. Would we go again? Absolutely.
