Hôtel Des Iles

Uniquely horrible experience. Even for Morocco, this hotel is a dump. There’s no AC in the rooms. They don’t have extra towels so you’ll use the one you get day one for your entire stay and to lay by pool. The rooms are disgusting and old, found multiple bugs dead and alive. The breakfast is extremely limited. The WiFi is super slow. The workers do not care about assisting you and will lie to you. There’s not a mini fridge in the rooms. The entire building looks like it hasn’t been maintained in 40 years. Stay away at all costs.

This place is an absolute disaster. First off, when I arrived, the staff strongly encouraged I pay in cash, very shady. They claimed the card machine was “down,” but miraculously it started working again when I pushed back. Felt like they were trying to dodge something. Super uncomfortable start. The room? Filthy. It reeked of mildew and something I couldn't quite identify, definitely not a place you want to breathe deeply. Stains on the sheets, hair in the shower, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. I’ve stayed in budget hotels before, but this was next-level bad. Tried to relax by the pool, big mistake. The area was covered in seagull poop. I'm not talking about a few droppings here and there. It looked like a scene from The Birds. No staff made any attempt to clean it up or warn guests. Disgusting.

It is unfortunate that google doesnt allow 0 star reviews. Everything in the hotel looked old and dirty, the rooms had dirty floors. The shower and bathrooms were nasty and the water that comes out is salt water. The towels and sheets smelled bad and were stained. Shameful experience, food was below average. Nothing in this hotel looked hygienic, there is the smell of bird poop everywhere in the pool area. It is in desperate need of renovation, the decoration was ugly and everything looked old. Service was mediocre . Do not go here. Probably the worst hotel ive been to in the last 20 years of my life. This is not even worth 1 star
