Great room size. Comfortable beds. Lovely view from the balcony. Balcony could do with cleaning. It was a bit dirty, but overall the room was great. The service at the bar and in the restaurant was superb. Very kind staff and very attentive. The check in and check out process was swift. There is plenty of parking on site also electric charging is available. The location is stunning. They have free bikes you can take to cycle around.
Wake up to a glassy, peaceful lake so quiet your thoughts start whispering. This hotel offers pure serenity and cozy comfort, with the golf course just 300 meters away—close enough to walk, far enough to keep your swing excuses creative. Start your day with a lakeside coffee, end it with a sunset spritz. Your GPS will still want to stay the night.
I hate writing bad reviews- but this visit was the last night of a good holiday and put us all in a bad mood. We chose this hotel for an overnight stay for a journey back from south of France to Eurotunnel. They e-mailed a week before suggesting we book for dinner. On the good side - nice location, lovely beds, clean rooms, nice inside by bar. However, the dinner was 170 euro for 2 kids meals, 2 starters, 2 main courses which were awful, 2 drinks and 2 bottles of water. We were made to feel totally unwelcome - the wine list came at the end of the meal so no chance of a bottle of wine to wash the food down with. The duck was as tough and tasteless as old boots and the Caesar salad gave my wife a stomach upset. The restaurant experience- both staff and food - ruined what should have been a great last night of a holiday. Had the staff been pleasant, and the food better, we would have had a bottle of champagne and desserts, coffees etc so at least we weren’t fleeced thanks to the above. Normally I wouldn’t go on with more minor points - but was they ruined a final holiday night, it is worth noting there is no trampoline for the kids, despite the photos, and the playground is is desperate need of a clean and some now swings etc - all sun bleached, cracked and dirty. It is a shame as the position is good and it could have been a lovely evening and night - but I would certainly not recommend anyone booking dinner if you do visit.
