Hôtel du Golfe

Right in the heart of Togo. I had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel du Golfe. It was the perfect location. Beautiful hotel with nice clean large rooms. I enjoyed my meals there especially up on the rooftop. You are able to shop in the markets that surround the hotel or walk across the street to the beach. There is also a small convenient shop directly across the street for any essentials you may have forgotten to pack.

When it comes to hotels, I have high standards. Essentially, the hotel needs look like a show room and services need to be up to par. So to make this clearer, I would say Motel One is a 9/10 and Hotel Du Golfe is a 7.2/10. The service at Hotel Du Golfe is excellent and the staffs are the main reason why I would return. This hotel is acceptable for those with high cleaning standards. The food is also great! Furthermore, I felt safe and this is coming from someone who bought a door lock for their room (I didn't use it). Finally, if you like ginger, try their ginger mocktail!

Very clean, big rooms, good quality internet & good restaurant with a view. Located at the center of the handy craft market, a few meters from the beach. Normal price for a room is too high however, same price as Hotel 2 février ( corporate price). It does not make sense.
