Hôtel Ducs D'Anjou

Stayed at this hotel at our recent visit to Paris and as nervous travellers who felt overwhelmed by the city itself, we felt perfectly safe and at home at this hotel. The check in process was easy and bags were taken to our room before we returned later in the day. Upon checkout when we had trouble getting transport to the airport causing us to feel quite panicked, the lady at the desk showed us exactly how to get to the train station and what stop to get off at. The room was cozy and air conditioned perfectly in the 30+ degree weather with a comfortable bed. No complaints at all

Stayed there over Easter weekend. The hotel is extremely convenient. In the middle of a vibrant part of Paris full of bars and restaurants. Exactly what we were looking to explore in the evenings during our stay. The staff were both informative and extremely pleasant. The room was dated and quite small. But it was clean with all the amenities you really needed. We were there literally to sleep only. The value was excellent in terms of cost per night. Would recommend this hotel if you plan to explore and be in the room for only a small fraction of the time... I.e. sleeping.

Super small rooms, broken elevator that only worked in the 1st day of 7 days stay and we were at 4th floor, staff are friendly but that won't make your stay any better if the AC is broken in early August and elevator doesn't work, walls are made of paper, you can hear everything from other rooms. We asked them for a second set of towels since there were 2 of us, and they gave us 2 sets for the rest of the stay for which we are thankful. Imagine they brought our expectations that low 😅 Edit: they fixed the AC the next day when we told them about it, but still, we spent 1 night sweating. They fixed the elevator after on day 6
