Will give an honest review... This was a 2 day stay... The Hotel reception personnel are very nice. You get a nice welcome and they are always available to help. I booked a regular room and was given a Suite for the same price. Very nice. The suite was nice everything was clean and functional. The cleaning staff were very nice always smiling and there to help if required. The breakfast buffet would need to be revised. The restaurant at night is not very welcoming. Locals are in and drinking beer... it looks more like a Tavern than a restaurant. The first morning (Sunday) the buffet was up and running but there is no Fruits no Vegetable on the tables and its bare minimum. Tables are not has clean has it should in a restaurant. The Next morning (Monday) NO Buffet and you get a tray with bare minimum and the service is raw and fast... you kind of feel like you need to eat fast and go not very welcoming. again tables are not has clean has it should in a restaurant. The pool area I cannot comment did not go... but it looked cleaned and well maintained Location is OK. Walking Distance from the old Médina. And Small Taxi are everywhere and cost between 7 and 15 dirham. Over all the Rooms are nice the staff are welcoming it’s a 3/5
This hotel, definitely, couldn't be a 4 star hotel. The maintenance and cleanliness is very low (old and dirty bathrooms, with funky smells), the restaurant doesn't have too many dishes to choose from (besides they don't change the tablecloth after each service -you can see stains and spots from the previous customers-) and there's no laundry service. On the other hand, the hotel staff (clerks and waiters) is very diligent and nice to the guests.
Most horrible hotel experience we ever had. It was suppose to be the best of two hotels in that town. Very old and outdated. Reserved 2 rooms. Had to move twice. First time one room did not have the remote for the a/c and fridge in other room did not work. Moved to another room, air worked, we went to eat and when we returned, room was flooded! Next morning, 80 year old mother in law got stuck in bathroom and could ot get her out! Needless to say, our 2 night stay became a one night stand! Sad, considering safi is the pottery capital of morocco. Nice beach and port.
