Hôtel Forest Hill Paris Meudon Vélizy

Stayed here on tour with our group of 40 students. It was one of the nicer hotels for sure. The fitness room is the best I've seen in any hotel ever. The restaurant was good however for breakfast, our group was segregated with a lesser, more budget breakfast (I guess to be expected on our budget tour). It's across the street from a major mall and close to a huge forest / park where morning runs were quite nice.

Not sure how they can claim that they are a four star hotel. They are a three star hotel at best. Rooms were small and Spartan. Our bed was a foam mattress which was lopsided. Breakfast buffet was really disappointing. It did have a nice pool and a decent gym as far as hotel gyms go (dumbbells, Smith machine, cable machine, treadmills and one elliptical machine). They unfortunately did not allow you to use the dumbbells until a gym staff was on site which was around 5 pm.

Two days without air conditioning, in the morning they promise to fix it, in the afternoon the staff changes and they have a different story how all their rooms are occupied and that I can only get a fan or open the window. I have no words for this hotel, totally unprofessional. My advice is to avoid this hotel which has a service similar to Ibis budget or Premiere classes
