Hôtel Garden Elysées

Lovely hotel much deserving of its 4 star designation. Located between the Arc de Triumph and the Eiffel Tower in the vibrant Trocadero neighborhood. The breakfast is perfect start for a petit dejeuner and a long day of walking. Servers bring you your choice of coffee, cappuccino, espresso, etc. The back sitting area is a lovely little oasis in the urban landscape. There is a grocery store almost next door for everything from fruit and vegetables to water, wine & liquor. The staff are all very pleasant, put up with my French and all spoe English. In particular I would like to say that I truly enjoyed my conversations with the weekday night time front desk clerk whom would greet us every evening after our long day. (sorry I don't know his name which I feel badly about). Our room housekeeping was perfect and worked around our days of sleeping in later seamlessly and without bother. Bus and Metro is very close by to the hotel as are many restaurants. Try the "Paris Seize Restaurant" for an authentic Parisienne experience walking distance away in the shockingly beautiful Place de Mexico with a view of the Eiffel Tower that you are really going to want to see!

Quick check in/out. Very comfortable rooms with nice sized bathrooms. Breakfast was as expected for all-inclusive. Overall a wonderful choice for a very nice quiet oasis in a good part of the city. Restaurants, shopping and museums nearby.

The Garden Elysee was a very pleasant surprise as we hadn't stayed there before. The staff was very welcoming and consistent in their desire and ability to satisfy our needs and desires. The accommodations were first rate as was the breakfast service. My wife unfortunately fell ill the night before we left. The staff went out of their way to make her as comfortable as possible during our departure. Well done to a great little hotel!
