Hôtel Gutenberg

We stayed two nights at this lovely hotel in the heart of Strasbourg. The location was perfect – everything was within walking distance, and we even had a view of the cathedral from our room. The surrounding area is full of bakeries, restaurants, and shops, so we skipped the hotel breakfast to enjoy the many nearby options. The service made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were quiet and peaceful – a bit on the smaller side, but spotlessly clean. The bathroom was spacious enough, and everything felt modern and well-maintained. Overall, we had a great and relaxing stay and can definitely recommend this hotel for a few days in Strasbourg.

The staff at Hotel Gutenberg made a huge effort, noticing small things like offering to keep a friends cakes cool by putting them in a fridge. Nothing was too much trouble from putting a note of jogging routes into the room, to taking good care of our bags and delivering them to the room before we checked in. Breakfast was generous and well refreshed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed for a romantic weekend in Strasbourg. The breakfast is also good. The only negative point we found is there is a night club on Rue du Miroir on the other side of the street so if your room gives on that street you might hear a bit of noise during the night if you are a light sleeper. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel and the rooms are actually quite well isolated (double windows). It did not prevent us to have good nights.
