Great little hotel, the price is not cheap.. but looking across all probably still reasonable compared to all other hotels- it is Cannes! Nice rooms, comfortable beds. We had some issues with booking itself but not sure if this was a result of booking.com or.. the hotel itself.
It it a nice, clean hotel close to the sea. Breakfast was also good. The only thing is there's not even kettle in the room, you have to ask reception to bring kettle to your room. Same goes for bathrobe and iron also. And you can't keep the iron until check out because they said they don't have enough iron to do this. I couldn't take the risk of iron not being available when I need it so I had to iron all of my clothes in one night which was tiring after a flight. Still, good hotel overall.
For those looking for a pleasant, clean, and comfortable place to stay, we strongly advise against choosing this hotel. We stay in various hotels several times a year, chill and easy going customers, and we selected this hotel for a conference — choices were limited — and we regretted it from the moment we arrived. After our flight, we simply wanted to freshen up, but at check-in we were told there was no hot water due to a gas outage. Fair enough — but we expected at least a small gesture from the hotel (a complimentary breakfast, for example), which is standard in most 4- or 5-star establishments when something of the sort happens or when a situation directly affects the guest experience. Problem: there was no gesture at all, even after discussing it. Apparently, no hot water is "not their problem." Then came the room. The shower was poorly installed, causing water to spill all over the bathroom floor, and there was nothing we could do. Hot water took 4 to 5 minutes to come through. Carpet in the room — a nightmare. Air conditioning blowing directly onto the bed. The toilet light turns on with motion but takes several minutes to turn off — great in the middle of the night. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Nothing in the minibar. And the pool… oh dear. Sun loungers with bird droppings, faded, and uncomfortable. Leaves floating in the pool. More bird droppings all around the pool area. Reception staff? Not particularly helpful or welcoming. They looked like they did not want to work and be there. The only positive was breakfast, which offered a fair selection (then again, at €26 per person, we hoped it would be good). Overall: extremely disappointing. This is not a 4-star hotel — maybe 2 or 3 stars at best. We are honestly upset we chose this hotel. Don’t be fooled by the photos.
