Hôtel La Bastide De Boulbon

This is one of the best small hotels we have ever stayed in, anywhere. We spent six nights here and our only regret was having to leave. A handsome period building set in a beautiful garden and grounds in a quiet side street of a picturesque (but not “touristy”) Provençal village. A place to unwind in complete comfort and peace - bring books - but within easy reach of all that Provence has to offer. Food of very high standard at breakfast and dinner, accompanied by personal service from people who clearly took pride in what they were doing. The key quality of this place is attention to detail in everything - with some very thoughtful touches. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at La Bastide de Boulbon. Sylvie and her team made us feel very welcome. The chef in residence creates beautiful dishes for leisurely dinners on the terrace. Rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and great showers. Air-conditioning in the rooms is a welcome respite in the summer. The hotel has beautiful gardens and a swimming pool and feels exclusive. We were very sad to leave and hope to return soon.

The owners and staff of the hotel pay attention to detail to make the experience match the location and facilities of the hotel. We had an excellent three night stay and enjoyed the local area, hotel gardens and pool and particularly the talents of the chef. It is also a great location from which to explore the local area. Highly recommended.
