Hôtel La Villefromoy Saint Malo

We stayed for two nights during our travels to the northwest of France. It was our favorite hotel during the trip! Wonderful and friendly service, yummy breakfast, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, and a location that is perfect — a ten minute drive to the historic city center, but in a quieter area right next to the beach. We would stay here again if back in the area!

I just stayed there and my number one impression is that they need to get better croissants and pains au chocolates. Thanks goodness for the bread, Breton butter and jams or I would have left hungry. The rest of the hotel is lovely. My room was comfortable with a small slice of ocean in the view, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean and comfortable. There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods which I thought odd but as I never wanted to make coffee it was fine. Also it's a 30 minutes walk to St Malo and the weather tends to be breezy so bring a good coat when you come to Brittany.

The man with the beard in the breakfast room is extremely rude. I only had a coffee before my bike ride. I went back for breakfast after and he said I already ate so I can’t have breakfast again. I already had food on my plate and he took in and threw it in the trash. I was baffled. Everyone else was nice though.
