Hôtel le K2 Chogori

Had a 3-night stay at K2 Chogori and was very impressed. It’s a smart and modern boutique spa hotel that felt luxurious and is a place I would recommend and hope to return to. Not-so-good - 1. My room could get quite warm and the temperature was difficult to adjust Good - 1. The food at all meal times is fantastic 2. They mix excellent cocktails 2. The spa is modern and very clean 3. The hotel location is great for skiing and the rest of the town 4. The shuttle service was reliable and very helpful 5. Ski shop (including equipment hire) as part of the hotel was really very useful 6. The rooms are beautiful Outstanding- 1. The staff. I found the staff in this hotel to be extremely polite, friendly, helpful and professional. That included everyone - reception, valets, bar, restaurant, housekeeping. I thought they were all superb. 2. Emilie the head waitress - sets the standard for the high level of hospitality and service you can expect at this hotel. Emilie was fantastic, she really got our day off to a great start each morning at breakfast and is a real asset to the K2 Chogori. Overall, highly recommend this hotel.

EXCEPTIONAL! The hotel itself is pure luxury but what makes this hotel special is the staff! This was the best service we have ever experienced! The attention to detail was just phenomenal! For example everyday the ski shuttle would collect us from the slopes, and when we would arrive back at the equipment store, cold bottles of water and our belongings would be laid out ready for our arrival. It was operationally seamless. Concierge took care of everything; ski hire, passes, all lunch and dinner reservations allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our trip. Our new fave place! Couldn’t recommend more!

The rooms was good although we booked for 5 person and they mentioned that the sofa bed is as good as the room when we arrive the sofa bed was not good at all and we had to pay 130€ a night for an extra bed and the extra bed was very bad as well. Also the staff is very new and they are not well trained for a 5 stars hotel the waiters at the breakfast were very rude. Moreover, the shutter takes a lot of time to take us from the ski room to the slopes and its really a waste of time. I would really wish they update there services to meet a 5 star hotel.
