Hôtel Le Roosevelt

Honestly, we didn't know what to expect. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Location is perfect, in a quiet area, close to excellent restaurants, the metro and several museums. Walkable to other areas. The room was quiet, reasonably sized, with comfortable bed, good shower, a refrigerator and kettle. Room was clean with daily service. Staff was friendly. Although we did not get breakfast, we got capucchinos at the hotel every morning.

The hotel was a good location for a short stay in Lyon. The staff were very helpful and the car parking was very convenient. I may be being harsh by giving a 4 star for the room as the only item that I can raise is that the toilet in the bathroom was very close to the towel rail, a little cramped. Shower etc. was fine. Maybe I will choose a superior room next time.

Great location for walking to the various areas of the city. Our room was well appointed and comfortable except the air circulation. It was unseasonably hot and the front desk indicated they could not adjust the temperature. However they were able to provide a floor fan. We made a bad choice paying for breakfast our last morning as there was only one individual preparing food, stocking the buffet and maintaining the dining area. She was doing her best however the price was not worth the limited offerings.
