Hôtel L'Escalet

The best decision of our holiday by @karinaprague We only stayed at L’Escalet for a few days – but it felt like pure euphoria. The hotel is set in a breathtaking natural environment: umbrella-shaped pine trees, rosemary in the air, the sound of the breeze, and a sense of serenity all around. Waking up to this view is simply zen. The owners and staff welcomed us with genuine warmth – from the reception to the kind gentleman at breakfast. Everyone pays close attention to detail to make sure you feel truly cared for. The pool is pleasantly heated, and the views from it are nothing short of dreamy. We highly recommend selecting your room type carefully – but even those facing the parking area offer a lovely view of the pool and pine trees with charming swings. We were honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews we read beforehand. They must be outdated – possibly from before the hotel was renovated – or just fake noise from competitors. We cannot understand how anyone could rate this place with anything less than a full five stars. One word of advice: be mindful of the weather. If it rains, the magical outdoor breakfast experience might lose a bit of its charm – but that’s nature’s doing, not the hotel’s fault. Thank you for this beautiful stay – we’re already looking forward to coming back!

I am very happy that I found this beautiful hotel for my trip to southern France. The hotel is great in every aspect. The whole place is very well maintained, clean and beautifully designed, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the surrounding area of the hotel is beautiful. I can recommend very much recommend it!

Unfortunately big discrepancy between paid prices and reality …. Round about 700 Euros for a cellar hole - that’s incredible. And in addition you can see from the foodpath around the accommodation in every room what guests do …. Good are the larger number of chargers for the cars and the rooms are really clean and tastefully furnished. So for our room **, overall impression ***
