Hôtel Littéraire le Swann BW Premier Collection

Room was very clean and had what we needed. Location was a short walk from the Europe metro stop and Saint Lazare train station. This allowed easy use of public transportation. It is close to a laundromat and small grocery store. The neighborhood was quiet but had locals out and about. This hotel has attentive staff and an affordable price. It was a perfect hub for our week in Paris.

Our recent stay at this Parisian hotel was made particularly enjoyable by the outstanding service we received from the front desk. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English, which was greatly appreciated and made us feel instantly welcome. We looked forward to the breakfast each morning, which offered a nice selection of typical European fare. It was a great way to embrace the local culture, and we encourage fellow American travelers to appreciate this style of breakfast rather than expecting a heavy, American-style spread. The rooms, while compact, provided a comfortable and homey base for our Parisian adventures. Interestingly, we booked two separate rooms, and they were completely different in their decor and layout. This difference in room styles likely contributes to the varied reviews one might find, and we can understand why, especially concerning the bathroom door situation (though this didn't detract significantly from our stay). The hotel's proximity to the Metro was a huge plus, allowing us to easily navigate the city using multiple lines. Furthermore, we felt very safe walking around the neighborhood at all hours and enjoyed the abundance of delightful cafes nearby, perfect for experiencing the classic Parisian street-side dining. Despite the variation in room styles, the exceptional service, convenient location, and safe, charming neighborhood make this a hotel we would consider staying at again.

Perfect location for what we needed. Close to places we needed to go. Close to metro stations and train station. Room was fine even though it was small, it worked. Upon check-in, the very nice young man took the time to locate a room that worked better for us (2 beds instead of 1). He was very nice, and polite and we could tell he really cared. A/C was not working day 1, but the young man reset it and it worked. A/C was not working day 2 & 3 and when we asked the front desk to reset it, the person was rude and condescending and said wait til tomorrow. We had to sleep with the window open and it was very noisy. A/C finally working on day 4. Ate breakfast one day. It was good. Overall we were very satisfied and I would stay again.
