We have just come back from a wonderful stay at this hotel. I would recommend it 100%. It’s so convenient to have everything under one roof, even the ski lift was less than a minutes walk away. The food at the restaurant was amazing too and we always looked forward to eating there. Big thank you to all the staff who were super friendly and helpful. We were sad to go home.
It is a nice hotel. Staff is super friendly. Located a bit above town, which makes it a bit complicated to go to town. Ski lift is by the ski room. Ski in probably great in the winter, but at the end of March, the slopes to the hotel are not that great, and we preferred going back with the ski lift. Food was OK. Not great. Maybe it's always like that, when the hotel is "all included", but it had no other choices. Pool is fantastic, and great view of the mountains. Overall, good hotel. With better food I'd give 5 stars.
We booked the trip with Crystal Ski and our first 4 star experience and to a big hotel. We arrived to find check in was from 5pm but turned up at 3pm. We’ve seen previous reviews and was glad they said our room was ready so we got to check in early. Rooms are a decent size and on first arrival clean and tidy but then it fails from there, we aren’t messy but found the room wasn’t hoovered all week, had to ask at reception for extra toilet roll as it wasn’t topped up or no one had come in that day. Toilet roll holder was broken. Hotel Lifts can be an absolute nightmare, during busy periods you find yourself having to wait a very long time, a lot of the time we took the stairs, 4th floor so not that bad, but if you were on 8/9 complete nightmare. Bar was excellent, staff friendly, great selection of drinks to choose included in the all inclusive package. Snacks were usually crepes and then crisps and nuts. Entertainment was geared up for French, it is in France though so to be expected. Food, interesting…..half the time it was cold or lukewarm even on the serving hot plates or heat lamps. Great selection of food to be had though. Pool unfortunately broken halfway through the trip, lovely at the start but after it broke, took several days to get anyway near upto temp. Ski lockers can be chaos but most of the time it’s fine. Press on and then type your 4 digit code then lock, same to unlock. Location excellent, lift right outside the hotel village 1800, can ski back to hotel on demo left or take the village 1800 back down, it’s a green and was getting slushy and patchy towards the end of the week. Bus from outside the hotel down into town, run about every 15 mins. Great service One thing we did find though and this is no fault of the hotel, there are a lot of people, to touching things or kids coughing over food I noticed several times. Towards the end of the trip I’ve come down with a horrible gastrointestinal virus. No idea if it’s from the hotel but we didn’t eat anywhere else. Overall great trip but I wouldn’t class it as 4 star for the price we paid. Thankfully there were pluses and the resort was excellent
