Simply the best stay we’ve ever had with ALL. I’ve stayed many times at hotels within the network and, honestly, I didn’t have high expectations this time. However, this turned out to be the best hotel and the best experience we’ve ever had. The staff were exceptionally attentive, even leaving a surprise in our room upon arrival. The room, while standard in size for Europe, felt surprisingly spacious, well-equipped, perfectly quiet, and impeccably cleaned every day. Breakfast was simply outstanding — beautifully prepared, with an extremely attentive team that genuinely made us feel at home. Congratulations to the entire hotel team — you truly deserve it. And one more thing: the hotel is just 50 meters from the metro, making arrival from and return to the airport incredibly easy and convenient. In short: a perfect 10!
Well located, one stop from the Eiffel Tower. The rooms had recently been refurbished but we found them very dark, and not a place that we wanted to spend time in. The room layout is a bit strange and we were not fans of the open bathroom and seperate toilet down a long hall way. Additionally the safe was at the bottom of the cupboard so not easy to access if you have mobility issues. On the positive side the hotel is well located, rooms were clean and well presented and the beds very comfortable. The hotel offers a light breakfast, and free teas and coffee but has no restaurant or bar.
Worst stay experience. First we were provided with a room with a main light flickering. We either had to sit in the dark or stare at the flickering light. The light was not fixed even after 24 hours. The next day (third night stay), they changed our room. The new room's air conditioning was not working. I informed the front desk and they said there's some maintenance ongoing and it'll take another hour to fix things. This felt like a hoax as AC was working in our other room, but we agreed to wait for the "maintenance" to complete. After we returned from dinner, the person at the front desk was changed and said there's nothing he could do because it was late and he'll call the technician the next day. The next day we were told that technician is not available till Monday (3 days later). The entire point of choosing Mercure was to have a comfortable and peaceful stay but this has been the worst stay for my entire trip to Europe. Would not recommend anyone to consider.
