Hôtel Mermoz

What a great hotel. The little touches are nice. Free refreshments in the mini bar upon arrival, not replenished. The Nespresso machine, supplied with 2 pods everyday. A couple more each day would be better. The rooms are generous but the bathroom and toilet a little small. The bed was comfortable, had 4 goodnights sleep. There's a pool and fitness centre but I didn't use these facilities, the reviews I read said the pool was on small size but I couldn't comment. There's an option of breakfast, but at 14€ I think that's too pricey, much rather eat out. The cafe Le Parisian is at the bottom of the street, more choice and cheaper. Would I use this hotel again, hell yes.

Very nice and clean rooms, a warm and enjoyable pool though it doesn't catch much sun, very friendly and helpful staff, a great breakfast... Lots to like and a really nice surprise given it was booked so last minute for us. Location is excellent too - just a 9 minute walk into the centre of town. The only negative is limited parking spaces on site, but you can book for EUR14 a day. The local parking centre costs EUR20 a day.

I think it used to be a nice hotel. The staff is wonderful but the room needs to be modernized. The walls are dirty and stained, the curtains have hug holes, the air-conditioning was not working and the bed was clearly overworked. The bathroom was dirty and the bathroom ceiling was orange and brown dotted.
