Hôtel Reisen in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Rooms were nicely appointed with enough space to spread out. I appreciated small touches like a mounted makeup mirror, free bottled water, and geraniums on our balcony. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Front desk went out of their way to find me a special phone charger cord. Hotel was ideally located between the harbor (restaurants, boat tours, bakery) and Gamla Stan (old town), close to Swedish Royal Palace, Nobel Museum, fine restaurants and shopping).

The hotel’s location is perfect, and the staff are amazing—truly what makes it a great hotel. I would have given it a 4.5 if I could. The only reasons I’m not giving it a full 5 stars are that there was no A/C in the room, and it was quite warm. Also, the rooms are a little small compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in. That being said, a fan was provided which helped, and we spent most of our time out of the room anyway. If we visit Stockholm again, we would definitely stay here. Amazing weekend—thank you so much!

Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is because the rooms are very warm (no A/C) and the bathroom in the classic room sea view is crazy tiny. We initially had a deluxe sea view room, but had to switch to a smaller room our second night because the larger room was unbearably hot & caused us to be up all night. The front desk staff was very responsive and switched our room the next morning without a problem. The bathroom in the deluxe room was a nice size, but the one in the classic room was the size of a small closet (same for the others we were traveling with). All in all, I would still highly recommend the hotel for the great location and excellent customer service.
