Hôtel Rochechouart a Member of Design Hotels Orso Hotel

After many years away from Paris I wanted a great place to stay in my favorite city. As I checked in I was upgraded to a suite, and was able to move into the room right away. From the lobby to the suite to the amazing rooftop bar (The Maggie), the Rochechouart is simply amazing. Its staff, namely Ambrine from reception and PL from The Maggie, are super helpful and make sure that your stay is remembered. The hotel is also situated in a very cool part of Paris not too far away from anything really. Next time I'm in Paris I know where I'm staying...

I had the most beautiful and lovely experience at the Hotel Rochecheouart in Paris. Absolutely all of the staff were incredibly kind towards me and as a return guest they left me a note and gift to reflect that, and a discount voucher for the coveted rooftop bar. Hats off to the maestro of cocktails who is also extremely talented and kind and good at his job. As a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe and cared for amongst this group of excellent people. I ate at Maggie the restaurant twice and upstairs on the rooftop twice. Exquisite! The only thing I would say is I witnessed some rude guests challenge the staff about smoking in France. They said that in New York we only vape. Well I thought but did not say because I am too polite that you are on holiday in Europe which has a different culture and you have maybe bigger issues going on in your country. Take a holiday and be respectful of the staff who can't change their culture for you. There is no smoking in the hotel rooms or Maggie restaurant so it is not something obvious, I saw the staff deal with unreasonable people with kindness and grace.

Rooms were very clean and very comfortable. I liked the decor but felt the walls could have a refresh coat of paint. Also prefer stronger water pressure, although it wasn't terrible. Was hard to get into the rooftop bar. Breakfast was great and staff weren't over bearing but helpful and friendly. Have recommended it to friends and would stay again.
