It's an elegant older hotel with a restaurant on the first level. The rooms are small but comfortable and fully appointed with a safe at work desk plenty of power ports and a closet. The bed is comfortable for two people, and the curtains make the room very dark as the sun is rising. There's a lot of shops and restaurants right here in the city centre. It's definitely a charming hotel. Most rooms have a small balcony where you can stand outside. The location is perfect for exploring the old town.

1. Location, accessibility: The hotel is close to Piazza Mihabo, the center of Aix-en-Provence, so you can also take a late night stroll. It is located a 10-minute walk from the train station and the intercity bus terminal. Because it is a central street, there are a lot of city buses. There is also a theater within a 3-minute walk. ***** 2. Rooms & restaurants, other facilities 1) Room: I stayed in a family room. It is a duplex structure with a sofa on the first floor and a bed on the upper floor. The ceiling was two stories high and the windows were high. The interior is mainly in pale pastel colors, like the Provence region. Photos of Cezanne's work are also hung on the wall on the first floor. The corridor to the room is also full of Cezanne's atmosphere. A picture of Cezanne's Mount Victois hangs behind the reception desk. Overall, I like the atmosphere of the room with a simple yet cozy atmosphere. But I don't like the bathroom. Both the structure and the interior look rather old and cheap. *** 2) restaurant The restaurant on the first floor, located to the right of the hotel entrance, has an open window, making it a good cafeteria. The red-focused classic interior makes it okay to come just for coffee, not for meals. However, breakfast was insufficient. The bread was flaky, and the food was tasteless. Breakfast is not recommended. ** 3) Other facilities As this is a 3-star hotel, there are no other facilities. 3. Service Service is okay. **** 4. Price When I went, the price was also reasonable (walking in price). However, when I searched with Booking.com now, the price is almost doubled even in the off-season. I would prefer to contact the hotel directly to find out the price. *** 5. General review If the price is between $100 and $130, I'm willing to revisit the Family Room.

Very disappointing. Carpet was dirty. No kettle or refrigerator in the room. Staff very helpful. Change of management has seen this hotel go downhill. Central location is handy. Could only cool the room down by opening the window. Air conditioning was putting out warm air at coolest setting.
