Family of 4 plus small dog. We had two connected rooms. Rooms are tiny which we did not mind as were outside sightseeing the whole time. Been there for 7 nights. Hotel has butique spirit. Close to Gare de Lyon station. Walking distance to Notre Dame. I would only appreciate changing variety of options for breakfast. But what was offered had a good quality. If you dont mind small rooms this hotel is great value for the price.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Paris. The rooms were very clean and beautifully designed. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel is located just steps away from the train station, yet it’s surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Rental bikes are conveniently available right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. If you are expecting a huge chain-hotel type experience, that's not here. It's an old building that they have made lovely. It is a short walk to the Jardin des Plantes and Notre Dame, as well as the trains and buses of Lyon Gare. We received a friendly greeting and an easy check-in. We arrived very early, so they stored our bags so we could go adventuring until our room was ready at 3. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The Nescafe machine was a great amenity for morning coffee. One complaint was that it was not always restocked daily, but my son had an adjoining room, so I just grabbed his. We got a second bed set so my husband didn't have to deal with me stealing the covers (great move). The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. My only other complaints are that they didn't scrub away the little black spots in the shower and the sink drain didn't stay open, so we just kept the stopper out (same problem in my son's room). We never took advantage of the breakfast because there is a lovely Boulangerie/Patisserie kiddie corner (L'abeille..not open on weekends) and another up towards the transport area (Delices de la Gare). I was sad to leave because of the convenient location and lovely staff.
