Hôtel Vedette

We absolutely LOVE this hotel. It was the second time and we'll definitely come back! The rooms are big, gorgeous design, great facilities. We really felt like home. The breakfast is SO good, definitely something to add when staying at Vedette! The location is amazing, so tranquil and great to walk around the river. These were the views from our room. Our favourite hotel in Belgium without any doubt!

Nice and modern boutique hotel, right on the river and they have a bike storage room. Large rooms with very comfortable bed. Coffee machine in the room and a nice breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged Gluten free options for breakfast.

We booked a room for two nights and couldn’t sleep the first night due to extreme heat. The building traps heat, the windows barely open, and there’s no proper cooling (no ac as well). We called the hotel early in the morning and said we’d consider leaving if the issue wasn’t resolved — but no one called back. We had to follow up ourselves around 2 p.m. First, they claimed there was a fan in the room (there wasn’t), then messaged saying there weren’t enough fans and suggested we open the windows — which barely open and don’t help at all. A cleaning lady eventually brought us one fan. No reception, no staff, no real support. The place feels abandoned. The room was nicely designed and the cleaning lady was kind — that’s the only reason this isn’t a 1-star review. Very disappointing for a supposed 4-star hotel.
