Hôtel Version Maquis Santa Manza

We had a five star ++ experience here. The hotel is well thought out, the bed was comfortable, the room modern. Excellent breakfast options. Nothing beats the hospitality of the staff and the view of the wilderness from this top location though!

I don't understand why this hotel is not a five star. It is beautiful. Amazing view. The staff was super helpful and friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean and nice. The hotel was very modern. We relaxed so much on our stay there.

We spent 7 nights in Hôtel Version Maquis Santa Manza. Overall, we had a fantastic time here and can highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a relaxed holiday. It's located about 10 minutes drive away from Bonifacio in a remote area. From the bed, you can overlook a forest and see the ocean. Each room has a generous shower and bathroom area. Also, each room has a terrace to sit and watch the sunrise. For whom is it: It's a very quiet place and ideal for people who want to relax. It's best suited for couples. This hotel is not for: party goers nor people who are loud. As the hotel offers a rather intimate setting (everyone meets around the pool area) it's important to treat other guests as well as the staff with respect. Best Amenities: The highlight is the pool area. The water in the pool is slightly salty and wonderful to swim in. There are sun chairs around the pool. The staff provides fresh towels. Furthermore, they offer 2 free e bikes. You can book a buggy that takes you to a nearby beach (rather remote). Food: The brunch is amazing. The staff is preparing cakes and egg meals. Everything is fresh. They also have a lunch menu and it's possible to book dinner if you inform the staff in advance. If you want seafood or meat, you better book a table in their partner hotel. The lunch and dining menu is more on the vegetarian / pasta side of things. Access: As it's rather remote, you need a car to drive there. Driving in Corse off the main roads is challenging. You have to be a good driver. No public transport to the hotel. We would like to thank the team of Hôtel Version Maquis Santa Manza for their extraordinary reception and care during our 7 days stay.
