Fantastic value - great ski in /out hotel , family rooms worked well with x2 teenage boys , the pool and spa were a big hit, and half board was exceptional - great food in all the various restaurant options , great suprise to find a couple of the half board option restaurants are in town/ different hotel - loved going out out! Restaurant staff were friendly ,& very adaptable to changes in options for kids especially , all of which were appreciated! Also great to have ski hire/shop on site too , hiring was quick and efficient online beforehand ,& then any changes or further purchases were easily done on site . Large bar area , allowed for space for groups and families to relax in evenings. Only slight downside is the difficulty navigating the hotel to reach locker rooms - perhaps more signs would help? ..
The location of the apartments are fantastic, easy to get round Tignes and straight to the slopes. The ski from the hotel down got a little ropey toward the end of our stay, hotel could have put some effort into maintaining the ski down. We stayed in the V apartments, which were notably run down and need some major upgrades in order to make them comfortable and of a high standard. The mattress’s on the beds were awful and not comfortable after a long day of sking, they looked very cheap. Everything felt a bit distressed, carpet and tiles worn and the furniture was old and notably worn. Overall I think it’s time to completely renovate the block before next season. The spa costing 25 per day is also a shame as it’s included if you are a hotel guest. The food in the main restaurant is fantastic and would recommend booking there every night. The pizza/burger place is very average and not worth it. Overall the location is the best part of this hotel, major changes needed to get it up to scratch though. Would return if investment made.
The hotel was very disappointing. The rooms were okay, but everything else in the hotel is really rundown. You can really feel that the owners are trying to squeeze as much out of their investment as possible. Some observations: - although the staff are in general nice and work hard, some of them are really not motivated and maybe work under difficult circumstances - the breakfast is really not good, most of the days parts of the buffet are just missing. And it is a dirty place, especially the chairs. - the bar and restaurants are really overpriced for what they offer especially if you compare it to some of the excellent restaurants in the village - we were in a week full off kids, but kids were only allowed in the pool until 18:30, not very kid friendly given their ski lessons ran until 17 o’ clock in April. Also the spa/pool really needs maintenance. - the hallways are old and often dirty. It is really not worth the money and not at all as displayed on the pictures
