We’ve just spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel. It was our first visit to Arcachon and the hotel was perfectly located for exploring the town and surrounding area. Friendly and helpful staff; very comfortable rooms; fantastic breakfasts and easy parking. The hotel also has a fantastic beach bar and restaurant which is a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Great food, friendly staff and just the most perfect spot to enjoy amazing sunsets. Would highly recommend both the hotel and the beach bar. We will return!
Highly recommended. This is a fabulous boutique hotel: gorgeous rooms, great restaurant and lovely people. We didn't use the spa but bet it's equally fabulous. It's on the site of the town's old water pumping station and has been brilliantly converted into the hotel and restaurant with additional new rooms added in the lovely grounds. It's a short walk to the seafront, with an uphill climb on the way back ... but so worth it. We had dinner in the restaurant which was utterly divine. We had their Monkfish with chef's risotto... OMG it was superb. Great wine list too. Breakfast was delicious, high quality, continental. It was a gorgeous two night stay. We'll return.
Visited in June 2022. IGP Agneau de Pauillac (milk-fed lamb under 75 days): pale, tender, milk-sweet. Roasted/seared; with mash, courgette, carrot ribbons, charred alliums, dill. A seasonal Gironde classic.
