Gorgeous hotel, very spacious rooms with a small kitchen and big bathroom included. The free breakfast is good and the restaurant is nice for lunch or dinner if you don't want to explore the area but be sure to make a reservation for dinner. I chose this hotel partly for the pool, which didn't disappoint and was a great break from the sun. The only drawback is there is a caravan park attached to the hotel so it was a lot busier and more family/kids oriented than I was expecting/wanted.

Let's start with the postivies. Beautiful house with very large and rustic rooms. Also fully air-conditioned which was needed. The location is also excellent, not too far from the motorway and with splendid views of the Tuscan countryside. The service is odd to say the least, we arrived late and were told we could use the pool till 8.00 pm and even a bit longer by what I asusmed was the owner of the place. At around 7.45 a worker rudely told us to get out. Also the breakfast was not great, especially the croissants which were dry... not what you expect in one of the world's most famous culinary regions. To conclude, a beautiful house set on beautiful grounds in an outstanding location..... yet needs better management.

My family and I were extremely disappointed with the service. The service at the restaurant was absolutely ridiculous. We were told that dinner starts at 19:30 and finishes at 21:00. We have booked a table and arrived at 20:00. We were waiting for at least 10 minutes to be sited, even though we had a reservation. After we got sited we were waiting for half an hour to get drinks. An hour later and after a multiple reminders about us waiting to order food, our drinks got warm and our mood dropped dramatically. We have waited for another hour to get our food. By the way we were with two hungry children. Ironically pizza took the longest to be cooked, pizza usually takes a minute to be cooked, but not an hour. It was also “amusing” to find out that a restaurant in the middle of Italy serves salad with out olive oil, we were served plain salad leaves. We came here due to our amazing experience last time we were here. Last time we had individual service and had amazing real Italian food. This time we got served late and awful pizza. I reckon all of this shambolic service is due to the boss of this place deciding to open a caravan park. Due to this addition to the business plan of this business genius quality of food and service decreased massively. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has self respect.
