I Love Roma

Stayed mid-october 2022 for three nights, booked last minute based on reviews, but it was not the best stay for the price. The pros: Location on the 87 bus line was very convenient to get to the colosseum, and easy walk to Vatican City. The rooms and sheets were clean, the mattress (ikea memory foam) was very comfortable. The cons: the walls are paper thin, you can hear your adjacent neighbors breathing, not kidding. We were kept up until 2 am due to the adjacent room using the TV bolted to the wall which was the same wall as our bed headboard, and they were having a normal conversation at normal levels, it was like they were in our room with us. The first room we were assigned the AC did not work, and the bathroom sink did not drain, and the main common area smelled like a toilet due to a broken sewer vent somewhere (the room smelled okay). The room we changed to was on the other side of the building and was significantly smaller, but we were not offered compensation. The cleaning product they used to clean when we were out was (i think) suppose to smell like honey, but it smelled like homeless person urine. If you have no trouble sleeping through noise and don't mind the various smells, the bed was comfortable and clean and you may enjoy your stay, but this guest house was not for us.

TL:DR : Never book this, they are a bunch of thiefs. Never ever book this ! especially if you have any problem with your flight ! They will take your money and forcefully cancel the reservation from their side. We arrived at 22h15 (literally 15minutes after checkout), they never answered calls or messaged once. We tried to see if we can spend the night somewhere and then come back to the location the day after since they weren't answering but no since their plan is : Collect all the money for the booking of whole period (we have booked for 8days) then they forcefully cancel the booking at 6AM the next day while ignoring any calls or messages so you find yourself with no booking & no rembursement then after they take your money they just book the room to someone else :)

Never book this hotel if it is possible that you cannot arrive on time to check in due to any delays of your flight… When we made the booking on Booking.com, we indicated that we could only check in between 10 and 11. The reservation was accepted, and then they informed us that we could only check in until 10… bunch of thieving scumbags.
