I Melograni del Chianti

This was my second stay at this beautiful vineyard/grove oasis! It seems often when we return to a place, the magic wears off. Not here. Its beauty only intensified! The lush surroundings,glorious sunlit mornings—all was as remembered and delivered again beyond expectations! Serena and Sarah took such good care of us. Staying here feels like sleeping in a lush dream. The views from the windows—each a postcard! I have not often taken and posted pics from a bathroom window! Ha! I had to pinch myself as it’s hard to believe this could be so! The beds were cozy and comfortable. The linens superb. The kitchen fully equipped with all we needed and a full sized fridge. The space is simply magical. Location for me is perfect. Poggibonsi an easy drive. And other cities a lovely adventure away, with getting there as scenic as the destination towns themselves. Serena made sure our space was ready and welcoming. Sarah had local recommendations for us to see and experience some of the lesser-known spaces nearby. We loved thrifting in town and getting gelato in San G., driving in for this alone. Groceries from Penny in Poggibonsi a must for us. From here at Melograni, you get the sun rises on one side of the grounds and an unmatched sunset from the terrace on the other. I don’t know that there is any place more beautiful on earth. This is heaven. Thank you to Serena and Sarah for welcoming us back. I have no doubt we will return again.

This was a very beautiful place to stay.The apartments was beautiful and had everything we needed.The pool was lovely ,the place as a whole was very peaceful and beautiful views from either side of the Tuscany countryside. Serena and Eleanor made us feel very welcome and would give you good advice on travel restaurants and nice days out.I would recommend this to anyone who loves Italy and is looking for a nice relaxing break close to city's of Florence and Sienna. We will go back one day.

This review is long overdue. Serena is absolutely first class. Our stay in 2013 was incredible, hospitable, and memorable. We will be back and this experience solidified our honeymoon. Absolutely amazing.
