I had a late check-in, and Alex was at the reception. He made me feel very welcome and ensured I was well looked after. It was a fantastic stay, and Alex did an excellent job.

This hotel stay was deeply disappointing across multiple areas. Whilst the location was amazing with short walk to the airport it is the only thing this hotel has going for it. Restaurant Issues: The children's menu was essentially non-functional. They were out of chicken nuggets, the fish in the fish and chips was overly fishy and inedible, and there was no kids' pizza option and everything else contained plain chicken which my kids don't eat. When I requested simple alternatives like a ham and cheese toastie, I was told they couldn't accommodate this. They were also "out of steamed vegetables" as if basic shopping had been forgotten. My burrata was substituted with bocconcini without notice—as if I wouldn't know the difference. It came with burnt toast masquerading as garlic bread and jar pesto that tasted awful. Billing Problems: After overcharging me for food, staff told me I couldn't receive a refund and had to choose different menu items instead. When I explained I didn't want additional food, they reluctantly offered a drink "as an exception"—using my own overcharged money. Accommodation Issues: Most concerning was being told my children couldn't stay in our booked room. When I asked where they were supposed to sleep, staff looked at me incredulously. They claimed the room couldn't accommodate our family size due to "fire hazard" regulations, but then somehow found a disability-accessible room that apparently didn't have the same fire safety concerns. This meant we now had to sleep in a much smaller bed with our kids which led to poor sleep which was exacerbated by the lumpy pillows and uncomfortable mattress. The inconsistent policies, poor food quality, and unprofessional service made this stay unacceptable. We will not stay again.
