Ibis Styles Accra Airport

The Ibis hotel offers a strategically advantageous location near the airport, providing a significantly improved experience compared to potentially unreliable accommodations in the vicinity. While the rooms are standard, the value proposition of the Ibis, considering the high cost of lodging in Accra, is compelling. The availability of a convenient airport shuttle service, operating hourly and free of charge, is a notable advantage. Furthermore, the hotel's breakfast, though an additional expense, is highly recommended. The area surrounding the hotel is secure and within walking distance of the Marina Mall. The front desk staff consistently demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness, which significantly enhances the overall guest experience and positively influences perceptions of the region.

Conveniently located for me. Dining area is nice, but music slightly too loud to my opinion. Food is good, but limited choice on the menu. Buffet for breakfast is excellent. Room have a slight musty smell. Limited choice of TV channels in the room (about 15 or 20 channels max). All staffs were very nice, professional and helpful. An overall nice experience, and i will come again, but few details could be improved.

The hotel is old and not as well maintained as it is apparent from the interior showing its age, most of the furniture is ancient with doors and cupboards falling apart with the lights also not working properly in the toilet. They also did not provide a kettle in my room nor did they keep a Do Not Disturb/Room Service card at the door. You can’t change the AC controls. To top it all off, I also saw a cockroach inside the room which is unacceptable at all. The only good thing about staying here is the friendly staff and their breakfast have amazing croissant and pancakes!
