Stayed here for 3 nights. The location was excellent and very convenient. It’s a 13-minute walk to Myeongdong Cathedral, around 3 minutes from Myeongdong Station Exit 10, and about 6 minutes to the airport limousine bus stop going to Incheon Airport. The staff were welcoming, and I received a welcome gift as an Accor Platinum member. We were assigned a room on the highest floor, which was great at first, but unfortunately, there was ongoing construction on an adjacent building that completely blocked the view. With no natural daylight coming into the room, it affected the overall experience. A room with a view is something I always look forward to during vacations, so this was quite disappointing. Breakfast was okay with limited options. The chef was attentive and encouraged guests to try the dishes, which made the experience feel welcoming. The sauna offered a beautiful view of Namsan Tower. Soaking in the warm, relaxing water while looking out at the city made for a memorable experience. Access to the sauna needs to be reserved through the front desk. The rooftop also had a great view of Namsan Tower and was a peaceful spot to unwind and take in the Seoul cityscape.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Styles Ambassador and found the experience to be mixed. The location is okay, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, which are the positives. However, I found it overpriced for what you actually get. The room is small. The gym is very poor, consisting of just two machines and a few dumbbells. Access to the spa costs €14, but it’s essentially just a bathtub, and you’re required to notify reception at least three hours in advance. The breakfast, priced at €17, was very basic and repetitive, the same goes for the lunch buffet. One major issue was the air conditioning, it’s a pre-programmed system that cannot be turned off or adjusted manually, which made the room uncomfortable at times. While the staff were friendly, most of them spoke very limited English, which made communication a bit difficult. I've stayed at other Ibis Styles hotels before, but this was by far the most expensive and offered the least value for the money.

We arrived at the hotel, noticing the 3 stars instead of advertised 4 stars. We were not able to enter the room at 14:00 but had to wait until 17:00. Staff was rather neutral in terms of hospitality. Nothing bad but we did not really feel warmly welcomed. The room was small, as expected, however due to a wall directly in front of our window including a very loud ventilator we decided to check out about 30 minutes later and look for another hotel to stay. On a positive note: The location is quite convenient due to a lot of the touristic sites being located nearby.
