I touched down early morning in Seoul and only expected check in at 3pm. However, Ms Rose Park gave me a pleasant surprise and said I could check in early without no extra charge! 5 hours earlier, amazing! Thank you so much Ms Park for your great service, this simple gesture has made me a fan of ibis Styles, 5 star service indeed! Great job! Room was clean and functional. The body wash smells really good!

Excellent location. Very close to the Yongsan Station. Only 3-min walk from the station, connected by a covered bridge. This is my first night staying at the hotel and I'd say my first impression is very positive. The male staff at the front desk was very patient and polite, walking me through the check-in and payment very attentively. The room was not spacious but it was the perfect size for solo travellers. You got everything you need in arm distance—toilet, shower, microwave oven, kettle, sink, full-length mirror. As someone traveling alone, I'm very satisfied with the room size and the layout. I also admire the clever design that allows the most efficient use of space. The closet is hidden behind the full-length mirror and it's a pretty big closet with lots of hangers. Will very likely choose to stay at this hotel again next time I visit Seoul alone!

Location is alright. As there is a nearby train station, and you can easily book an Uber if in case you need to get somewhere. They also have staff to assist you if you need a cab. Room's small, but I think it's good enough if you’re travelling alone. They have a bar on the top floor which was lovely! And if you need snacks or some items, there's a convenience downstairs. However, I am not happy with how one staff handled my situation. Our travel agency booked a different branch of Ibis Styles, so I had to book on the spot. I asked the staff if she can get me a room in Yongsan instead, and she said I need to book it online myself. I spoke to another staff, Rose P., when I had trouble booking a room online. And she got me a room quickly. Props to Rose for an amazing service!
