Booked as a last minute stay due to flight cancellation but really enjoyed the central location and whilst the room was small it was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent too. Only slight detractors to overall score was that because the shower pressure was so strong/good it would cause the hand handle shower head to move in the holder to where it was shooting the water horizontally, couldn’t adjust this. Also the acoustic design of the breakfast area causes the room to be incredibly loud with people’s conversations bouncing off the walls, some more plants might help with this.
Thank you for the care and attention you give your guests, food and comfortable environment. Our holiday was such a pleasant one, because of this hotel! I felt really at home and safe because of the care and attention given by staff and the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. Of course I took common sense approaches like locking my door at night and not letting my daughter wander around without me. However I only had positive experiences while staying here, and in fact I couldn't wait sometimes to spend more time in our room!
Can't beat the location for access to everything either by foot or the city's great bus system or Uber. Solo retired older female traveler. King bed room small but efficient gorgeous expensive view of river from 21st floor. Bed comfy. Pillows too big and too firm (not a unique complaint of hotel pillows for me.) Great shower. Cons: TV only has a handful of TV channels, maybe it's cable not sure. Point is ZERO apps on the screen. I spent a while figuring out how to use the apps on my mobile phone via a VPN (bought ExpressVPN for a month worked like a charm to access my USA based apps) cast to the hotel TV to watch the Open. The restaurant is dark and depressing feels like I'm in a basement with low ceilings, few windows and cheap furniture. The "bar" is a counter with alcohol on the wall behind it; aka no sitting at the bar. But at least there was alcohol. The food for breakfast and an evening snack was dull. I wouldn't venture a full evening meal there and the only reason I ate breakfast there a 2nd time was laziness on my part.
