Ibis Styles Heraklion Central

We were 3 adults and stayed 5 nights. Really enjoyed our time here. The room was spacious, clean and even came with a balcony which was a plus. Great location, only a few minutes walk from bus stops and high street. Breakfast was delicious.So many options from savoury and sweet. They also had a rooftop bar with excellent views. Good service as we had to print bus tickets and they did with pleasure. Great amenities.

We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Styles Heraklion. The family room was spacious, clean and comfortable overall. The bathrooms are especially great. Solid and varied breakfast buffet. It’s also handy that there’s valet parking at €9 per day available right next door. Some suggestions to make it even better: - the sofa bed in the family room isn’t comfortable at all, and sinks in, especially when anyone more than a young child uses it. - the breakfast is great but it would be nice to label what’s vegetarian and vegan. Much easier for guests like us to know what we can enjoy each day. - the sound proofing isn’t so great and you can hear quite a lot of noise from outside if you’re on a lower floor especially. Didn’t bother us too much though but could be tough for those with younger kids.

Average hotel and affordable for the area. Rooms were basic and some repair needed but overall comfortable and glad we stayed here. I wouldn’t call it a 4 star hotel as google says. We stayed one night to catch a ferry in the morning. Hotel staff was very helpful and kind. Free breakfast was great too!
