On balance I award 5 stars but there were a couple of negatives. The room was fine but on the 21st floor so long wait times for the lift but not too bad. This is a budget brand in Europe but I notice it has 4 stars here in Vietnam. Fair enough. Mine was a twin room with city view. All good and clean and soulless. My main issues were: 1. No smart TV just regular cable. I would have expected that from a French multinational chain. 2. Wifi was poor. Intermittent, definitely not suitable for location independent digital working. 3. The particular room 2117 had crazy loud noise when a neighbour took a shower. I think that was the cause. Really loud machine noise... Breakfast was great. But crowded even at 7 am! Has a swimming pool and spa. All staff are very pleasant with first class English. I liked it here but I can book a boutique hotel for half the price and get the same level. And yes in the same location too...I'm writing from there now! So am not sure why to pay this premium. I don't miss the crowds. Russian spoken here

Good hotel for the price. The rooms are average but clean and have everything you need. We had connecting rooms for two adults and two kids — it was very comfortable. The hotel has its own outdoor pool, which is nice for a quick swim. Location is great, close to the beach, shops, and cafes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Mini room tour is attached so you can see it.

We had a good stay here Staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was large - we asked for additional pillows and they were brought to the room very quickly. Nice views from the room itself. The price point for the room was excellent. There was no shower gel in the shower, so had to use soap from the sink area. However, the soap dispenser is glued down to the sink (why?) so it wasn't the easiest! Air con control panel in the room didn't really appear to work. It was stuck on 22 degrees and couldn't be made cooler/warmer. The pool area needed some TLC. The furniture was very tatty and the pool towels were very old and very dirty. They need to be refreshed. We were offered the ability to use the shower facilities after check out, but they had run out of towels for us to use, not great. once again, no shower gel in the pool area showers either....
