iclub Wan Chai Hotel

Rooms were pretty good & decent. It has a mouldy smell in the lobby as well as the rooms. Otherwise it was fine. However, the staffs were friendly and helpful. The hotel is 6 min away from Wan Chai metro and there’s bunch of bus stops nearby and the tram station is just opposite the hotel so transportation was so convenient which is why we booked this hotel in the first place. Overall we were satisfied with our stay! It’s sufficient if you’re going to be staying in the room just for cleaning up and sleeping! 😊

Special shout to front desk staff Ms Cora!! She was professional and attentive to my requirement! It’s not the first time I had received such great customer experience from her! Include my previous stay as well.

I am not sure how people gave this place 5 star. It’s a backpacker in western standard not a hotel. Apart from location , This hotel is the most frustrating place I have ever been, I booked i- business room and nothing is close to business room, every thing is too old , low quality and poor… room is smelling musty … the bed is too hard like sleeping on the rock , the pillows , the towels with hole in it showing the age of towel, looks like a very low quality budget backpacker … microwave and kettle belongs to the style of 1990s…very old looking … the sink and top of cabinet is stained , the cabinet doors are broken. No plug in beside the bed. I couldn’t even charge my mobile because of their stupid plug in design and they don’t have any extra charger to borrow in reception. It’s been mentioned it’s minimally designed hotel but I can confirm it’s poor and cheap design …. Nothing up to minimal standard …. Very very disappointing
