Icona Avalon

The ICONA Avalon is a splendid place for a relaxing vacation. You have your choice of pool or beach for the young ones. Rooms are clean and new. Very helpful and attentive staff. I forgot to pack my toothbrush and they have them at the front desk. 3 food options with restaurants and dining. Quick and easy by the poolside or elegant inside. Also great for events such as high school reunions and weddings.

My first time staying here was a 3 night stay for my Birthday get-a-way!! The hotel was lovely, having the pool-side food & cocktail service was a bonus! Also enjoyed the sand bar with live music and dining options. Ate at the Beer pub in the hotel, which was pretty good. Prime steakhouse was Amazing!! The best part was having someone set up your lounge chairs & umbrella at the beach every day, complimentary. Shuttle service to Stone Harbor was also a Plus!! My only few complaints are the pool towel’s could’ve been larger and softer, felt very cheap. Blow dryer was about 15 yrs old, and toiletries could have been upgraded to full size, since we did pay over $500 a night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but feel it was VERY over priced!!

The hotel and staff were great! Beautiful beach front room with spacious balcony. The bed mattress was not the most comfortable and sheets a little stiff. I would recommend it for a beach vacation and the pool area was great too!
