Great hotel overall, my second stay here when driving from Spain to Toscana, and will surely stay again in the future.
0 star service!!! No air condition at 33°C!!! I stayed at Idea Hotel Savona with my wife in June 2025, and it was a very disappointing experience. The air conditioning in our room was not working, and despite raising the issue multiple times with the front desk, no action was taken. Staff kept telling us to wait but never fixed the problem or offered another room. We ended up spending a very uncomfortable night in the heat, which completely ruined our stay. I also sent a formal complaint to the hotel afterward, but they never replied. This level of customer service is unacceptable.
Unacceptable night of sleep. We have stayed here on our journey from Italy to France in September. Unfortunately, the management decided to deactivate the AC. Room temperature was at 27 degrees centigrade and upon request, the staff at the reception just was able to recommend “open the window”. And that there is no way to support us. The parking lot, the street and train tracks were very loud and when it stopped raining, the mosquitoes came and ate us. This is totally unacceptable at the present rates and the hotel was advertised differently.
