IFA Altamarena by Lopesan Hotels All Inclusive

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Family Getaway – Thank You for the Wonderful Memories! Our stay at **FA Altamarena Hotel by Lopesan Hotels** was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel welcome with their warm smiles and helpful attitude—they were always ready to assist with anything we needed. The buffet was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious dishes every day, and the restaurant staff were so kind and attentive. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding - our room was always spotless, thanks to the diligent housekeeping team. The location is ideal- just a minute’s walk to a beautiful beach, which was so convenient for our family. The atmosphere is calm and family-friendly, and we never had any issues finding sunbeds by the pool - there were always plenty available! A huge thank you to the entertainment team, especially **Luka** - his unbelievable energy and fun activities kept both kids and adults entertained all day long. He truly made our vacation extra special🫶! We couldn’t have asked for a better family holiday. Thank you, FA Altamarena, for the amazing experience! We’ll definitely back again✨️🫶

Arrived last night and was relived that a late night meal was provided for us as we had missed the dinner service. Family room was big enough for x2 people and had a sofa -bed. But unfortunately the room had a strong smell of smoke and we could hear the music coming from the bar. So if you’re sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, I would not recommend room 134 on first floor. Having said that, the room was spotlessly clean and cannot fault. As our party had been split; with our room on seafront side and our friends on the roadside, we asked to change rooms and the staff (a lady who was lovely and helpful) have been understanding and have asked us to go to reception this morning to re-accommodate us (as many guests will be checking out today) so we are closer to each other and can choose a non-smoky room. Upon arrival the main entertainment room was in full swing with live Salsa music and guests letting their hair down on the dance floor. Majority of guest demographic seems to be German. There are x2 pool tables. Bar was busy and staff could be a bit more attentive to guests needs. Cocktails are strong 😁, so if you’re a lightweight, sip slowly 😂. Beds are comfy, there’s a phone, fridge and bathroom is complete with bath and shower. The hotel is situated with the ocean on one side and a long street of shops on the other. Shops include: Mango, koala Bay, Tommy Hilfiger, lots of restaurants. I will update on how the room situation pans out later…

We enjoyed our holiday, but this hotel feels more like a 3-star than a 4-star. The animation team, of Luca and Gonzalo, were fantastic — they made the trip really special the children. The pools were great, with an inflatable slide one day, and sunbeds were always available. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Jandía’s beautiful beach with shops and restaurants nearby. The room was clean, the beds were fine, and hot water was always available. However, the hotel is dated and needs some updates. The food was repetitive, and during busy times, there were delays in clearing tables and long waits at the grill. Our biggest issue was with reception. Check-in was slow and tedious, especially for a large group. We were promised two late check-out rooms, but one was suddenly revoked on the day of departure, with no apology and rude treatment from a staff member. It left a disappointing final impression. A good location and great entertainment team made the holiday enjoyable, but service and facilities could be improved.
