Iguana Azul

My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. Spent 1 night there and found the location central and easy to navigate. The highlight though was the friendliness and helpfulness of Walid and Jabeer. Amazing. The included breakfast was the best of our 3 weeks travelling in Morocco. Thoroughly recommended.

The staff were super kind, helpful and very flexible with checkout time or changing the date of the booking. The hotel is in a great location and accessible to great restaurants and very close from the main road. The rooms were clean, big and the bed was comfy. Had a great stay.
