IH Hotels Courmayeur Mont Blanc Resort

Jessica and the rest of the staff were some of the most hospitable and kind people I’ve ever interacted with at a hotel. They made our stay exceptional in so many ways big and small. And the bar tender Andrea was so friendly - he even agreed to play a game of pool with my friends and me (and let us win). Would recommend this hotel to anyone purely because the staff is so incredible!

Good location and facilities. But rooms need some refurbishment. There is more scope for improving on service at reception. Our room was south facing and very hot on checking in. Neither air-conditioning nor a fan. When a fan was requested I had to go down to reception and carry it myself !!. House keeping is also below par. Water bottle was empty and shower gel had run out on second day. Not replaced. This is a wonderfulful hotel and can improve to get 5 stars.

This is not a 4 star hotel. There is no air-conditioning just windows over the main road with sun streaming in and traffic noise. No Shampoo or conditioner in the tiny bathroom. The rooms are dated. Reception experience, despite us being the only customers in reception and 3 people being behind the desk, was slow and indifferent. A guy in a grubby white polo eventually did our check-in. The only thing 4 star about the hotel was the pricing. The breakfast buffet was good even if the staff managing seating were not. But for the price treat yourself at a local cafe or bakery there are many excellent choices.
