IH Hotels Firenze Select Executive

Spacious room and bathroom. Really clean place. Nice staff. There was no problem with our dog which was treated like a real guest:). 2 km to old town and 1,5 km to city park. Good air condition. Very "continental" breakfast, broken toaster. Overpriced car park (16 euro per night).

Room was acceptable but not very clean- the was some kind of sticky patch on the table and the wall was greasy(?). Bed was fairly comfortable and the area is quiet. Check in and out was painless. A reasonable stay for the price we paid considering the other options available. Don't bother with breakfast. Paid for three days of it and went once. Easily the worst I have had in a hotel.

The front desk worker was horribly rude and unhelpful. My toilet did not flush (I had to use the trash can to pour water down it to get it to empty). When I asked him for help he said sarcastically " I doubt the maintenance guy will come and what do you expect you paid 37euro for this hotel". The shower nozzle fell off the wall, there us no airport shuttle, you have to pay 40euro if you arrive after 6pm, the phone cord goes to an empty hole in the wall, you feel the bed springs.. I would never stay here again.
