Stayed for the Avenged Sevenfold concert for 2 nights The breakfast was as good as you could want, cornettos, pastries, eggs, bacon, etc The only 1 issue we had was the air-conditioning controls were reversed so Heating was Cooling and Cooling was Heating which was fine to get around however setting the AC to the lowest we could never made the room cooler than 20°c at a guess. Lovely hotel and would've got 5 stars if the AC was fully working but still very good
We stayed for one night and it was a horrible experience. We just got in the room and we noticed that the sheets were covered with hair and stains, like they hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. The bathroom was also stained with something and had hairs all over it. Also the fridge doesn’t work and it has cramps. When we went to complain to the receptionist he asked for proof and he send security guards because the cleaners weren’t working at that time. The security guards were mocking and insulting my friend in Italian, when she was trying to tell them what the problem is. In addition the hotel is close to a very bad area as they call it here one of the worst neighborhoods in Milan. Clearly do not recommend.
Disappointing Stay Despite Great Location The location of the hotel was excellent — that’s about the only positive I can mention. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was a nightmare. The room’s air conditioning was completely non-functional, and when I asked about it, a staff member simply said, “Not working.” The room felt like it was over 100°F. To make matters worse, I was told by both security and maintenance that the window had been broken for two days, meaning it couldn’t fully close. That broken window let in an overwhelming number of bugs. Around 9:30 PM, the walls were crawling with insects. I called the front desk, and they sent security to deal with the situation. He stood on our bed to kill the bugs, knocking many of them onto the sheets and pillows. No replacement bedding, and no offer to change rooms. When I asked again about the window, I was told the same thing: it’s been broken for two days, and that’s why the bugs keep coming in. Sure enough, another swarm arrived about 30 minutes later — this time joined by a large wasp. Once again, security came to kill them, but that was it. I still don’t know how my boys and myself managed to get any sleep. We left the property at 7 AM, exhausted and disgusted. The only compensation offered was a free breakfast and waiver of some minor taxes — completely inadequate given the severe discomfort and health concerns. I reported the issue to Priceline the same night, and they reached out to the property. Shockingly, the hotel denied everything. If you value comfort, safety, and basic hospitality — stay elsewhere. Edit to Respond To Property The maintenance man did come to see the issue about the AC and I did mention and show him the window. If maintenance was the only person to fix it, and since there is a special technique, why didn't he fix it at the time of his visit? Soon after as I mentioned before, the security came two times to kill the bugs and try to close the window, which security mentioned it was broken. While I appreciate covering the cost of the tax, that doesn't excuse deniying the event ever happened to Priceline customer service when I asked for a refund of the entire night. No excuses should be made when you're sleeping in a room that's 103 degrees, window not closing even after maintenance and security showed up, and bugs crawling all over the walls. Make it right with Priceline and approve the refund.
